Abstract
In 2018, Paul Rabil, a prominent lacrosse player, and his brother Mike Rabil left Major League Lacrosse to create the Premier Lacrosse League, aiming to revolutionize professional lacrosse. They introduced a touring model, secured media deals, attracted new sponsors, and successfully advocated for lacrosse to be included in the Olympics. Additionally, they collaborated with Kevin Durant's media company to promote a new version of the game called "street lacrosse" to broaden participation beyond privileged demographics. The Rabils also announced the upcoming launch of the Women's Lacrosse League in 2025 to capitalize on the growing interest in women's sports. [Extracted from the article]
