Abstract

Lucy Barnard, a recipient of the Australian Geographic Adventurer Awards, shared her experiences of traveling through South and Central America at a sold-out event in Sydney. She aims to continue her journey through the USA and Canada, with a final destination in Alaska by mid-2026. Accompanied by friends Bailey Seamer and Michael Atkinson, Lucy's adventures were captured by photographer Krystle Wright at the event, which was supported by partners Paddy Pallin and Coral Expeditions.
