Abstract
The article discusses the blending of personal and professional spaces in the context of virtual communications and etiquette norms during the COVID-19 pandemic. The author reflects on their own experience of creating a professional remote work environment and observing others' workspaces through video calls. They note that while there have been positive aspects to this cultural shift, such as increased sensitivity to colleagues' personal lives, there has also been a loss of boundaries and a more casual approach to communication. The author expresses concern about the erosion of etiquette standards and the pressure to be constantly accessible in a more informal work environment. [Extracted from the article]
