Abstract
The article discusses the rebranding of UFOs as UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) and the increasing interest in studying these unexplained sightings. The stigma associated with reporting UFO sightings has hindered valuable information from being shared, including potential threats to aviation. Government agencies and officials are now recognizing the importance of investigating these phenomena and have established offices to collect and analyze reports. Scientists are using data analysis and advanced visualization tools to debunk many sightings and identify more mundane explanations, such as weather phenomena, aircraft, and satellites. However, there is still a need for better data collection and analysis to understand UAPs fully. Various research teams are developing instrument packages to observe and study UAPs, with the hope of making new discoveries. [Extracted from the article]
