Abstract

The American Impressionist Society's 9th annual Impressions Small Works Showcase will feature over 200 paintings at the Fallbrook Art Center in California from February 14 to March 29. The exhibition will highlight the beauty of impressionism, showcasing works by artists such as Calvin Liang, Huihan Liu, Jonathan McPhillips, Cheryl St. John, and Mark Daly. The paintings focus on capturing light and creating a sense of lightness, with titles that reflect the artists' desire to reveal the beauty in everyday moments. The exhibition will also include new works from a Paint Out event and pieces by AIS Masters, Board members, Officers, and Founders. [Extracted from the article]
