Abstract

The article focuses on recent trends in print book sales during the week ending November 26, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022. Overall print book sales increased by 1.4%, with young adult fiction showing the largest growth at 24.7%, driven in part by Suzanne Collins's titles related to the film adaptation of *The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes*. Adult fiction sales rose 5.4%, led by Rebecca Yarros's *Empyrean* series, while adult nonfiction sales grew 1.7%, highlighted by memoirs from Matthew Perry and Britney Spears. Juvenile fiction sales declined by 4.9%, although Jeff Kinney's *Wimpy Kid* book remained the top seller in that category.
