Abstract
The article presents eight research papers that address critical policy issues, including climate finance, monetary policy, gender wage gaps, tax avoidance, immigration, and emerging market economies. One paper proposes the issuance of European climate bonds to finance climate initiatives, while others analyze the effects of disinflationary policies on central bank finances and the asymmetries in U.S. monetary policy objectives. Additionally, research on Austria's pay transparency law reveals it does not significantly reduce gender pay disparities, and a study on the OECD's multilateral tax agreement highlights challenges in curbing multinational tax avoidance. The papers also explore the integration of migrants in Germany and the relationship between immigration and right-wing populism, concluding with an examination of emerging market economies' progress in overcoming their reliance on foreign currency borrowing, termed "Original Sin."
