Abstract

The Agriculture Department's National Institute of Food and Agriculture is accepting applications for the Women and Minorities in STEM (WAMS) Fields Program. The program aims to increase the participation of rural women and underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The deadline for applications is February 9, 2024, and a total of $1.8 million is available for up to 10 awards of up to $200,000 each. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, for-profit organizations, research institutions, federal agencies, national laboratories, and qualified individuals.
