Abstract

The article presents the discussion on Reuters Institute at the University of Oxford again surveying newsrooms for gender representation. Topics include gender equality in society and the percentage of women in top editorial positions finding a weak positive correlation; and scoring well on the United Nations Gender Inequality Index (UN GII) having relatively few women among the top editors.
