Abstract

An interview with Anita Heiss, a Wiradyuri author, is presented. She discusses about her children's books Bidhi Galing (Big Rain) and Harry's Secret, discussing her motivation to share First Nations histories and cultural knowledge with young readers, foster empathy, and provide stories where Indigenous children can see themselves represented.
