Abstract
RAYE, a British singer-songwriter, attended the BRIT School as a teenager and was inspired by successful alumni like Adele and Amy Winehouse. At the 2024 BRIT Awards, she became the most nominated artist and broke the record for most wins in a single night, including Album of the Year. RAYE's love of singing was influenced by her parents' involvement in their church, and she dropped out of the BRIT School at 16 to focus on songwriting. She has written for artists like Beyoncé and released her debut album, My 21st Century Blues, which gained recognition and spawned a viral TikTok hit. RAYE is driven by the need to prove herself and is determined to showcase her talent. [Extracted from the article]
