Abstract
The Editorial Board acknowledge the contribution to this special issue of its Guest Editors Dr Carolina Alves, who is an Associate Professor in Economics at University College London and Professor Jan Toporowski, who is Professor of Economics and Finance at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. The Guest Editors brought the original proposal for this special issue to the Editorial Board for consideration and subsequently worked on the call for papers and helped progress the submitted papers through the peer review process.
