Abstract

The article focuses on the contributions and experiences of prominent Black women in politics, highlighting their roles as leaders and mentors across generations. Donna Brazile, a veteran political strategist, reflects on the significance of the ESSENCE Music Festival in empowering Black women's voices, while Symone Sanders Townsend, a younger political strategist, acknowledges Brazile's influence on her career.
