Abstract
Lynda Carter, the actress who played Wonder Woman, discusses her career, aging, and her involvement in the planning of the Smithsonian Women's History Museum. Carter reflects on her early struggles as a singer and actress, and how she found support from her mother. She believes that Wonder Woman's enduring appeal lies in her portrayal as a powerful and extraordinary woman. Carter serves on the advisory council for the Women's History Museum and believes it will inspire conversations and connections. She also discusses the importance of staying in shape and the challenges facing older women. Carter's daughter, Jessica, has followed her own path and embraced the idea that women shape their own destiny. Carter also opens up about the loss of her husband and her new song, "Rise Up," which encourages people to speak up for democracy. [Extracted from the article]
