Abstract
A recent study published in Science has revealed the fur color of early mammals that lived alongside dinosaurs. The research indicates that these mammals likely had dark brown or grayish fur, which may have helped them survive in their environment. The findings also suggest that these mammals were nocturnal, possibly to avoid predators, and that their dark fur may have helped regulate body temperature. Further research is needed to explore how fur color evolved in mammals after the extinction of dinosaurs. [Extracted from the article]
