Abstract
This article focuses on the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and its digital transformation journey to modernize and integrate its previously siloed legacy technologies. By migrating core services to the cloud and adopting the Salesforce platform, the RSPCA has improved collaboration across its diverse teams involved in animal welfare, legal processes, and fundraising, enabling a unified management of the animal care journey. The transformation has enhanced stakeholder engagement through single sources of truth for customers, volunteers, and partners, while also supporting talent attraction and retention by offering career growth opportunities and advanced technology roles. This digital shift positions the RSPCA to better meet future challenges and strengthen its mission as it approaches its 200th anniversary.
