Abstract
NewsPalaeontologyMeet Apex, the biggest and most complete Stegosaurus fossil ever found. Discovered in Colorado in 2022, the skeleton — with its tail now set in an attack pose — is over 3 metres tall and 6 metres long, and has 247 bones. This herbivorous dinosaur is thought to have lived some 150 million years ago in the Jurassic period.
