Abstract
The article focuses on the evolutionary convergence of sensory circuits in the pallium of amniotes, exploring the development of pallial circuits across species. Topics include the divergence in neurogenic processes across chick, mouse, and gecko species, the conservation of GABAergic neurons and divergence in glutamatergic neurons, and the role of functional constraints in shaping sensory circuits.
