Biography
Bowen Thagard is the Executive Vice President of Operations and Finance at EBSCO Information Services (EIS). He leads the operational and financial functions for the Subscription Services Division, GOBI Library Services Division, and EBSCO’s global regional offices. Since joining the company in 2007, Bowen has held leadership roles across domestic and international markets, contributing to EBSCO’s strategic direction and performance.
Before joining EBSCO, Bowen spent eight years in Atlanta with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and The Home Depot. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Auburn University and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Bowen is active in the Birmingham community and serves on several nonprofit boards. He lives in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife and two daughters.
