Cathleen Keyser

Senior Data Strategist

Cathleen works with her team members on assessing and redefining our reading-focused taxonomies to create clear and useful access points that help librarians and readers find those just-right books.

Cathleen’s first RA job was working at a video store (she *loves* horror movies). Her favorite book as a kid was Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz. Today you’re most likely to find her reading stories with the theme vengeance is mine. Other favorite free-time activities include watching bad movies from the 70s and 80s, going to taco trucks, and vintage shopping (70s, ya dig?).

Cathleen's recommended reads:

  • The Black Count : glory, revolution, betrayal, and the real Count of Monte Cristo
  • Lost girls : an unsolved American mystery
  • The boy detective fails
  • The Day of the Triffids
  • Hex

  • Stamped : racism, antiracism, and you
