Rajat Kotra

Rajat Kotra is Chief Data & AI Officer at EBSCO Information Services and is responsible for developing and implementing the company's Enterprise Data and AI strategy. This role focuses on leveraging EBSCO's content and data assets to create innovative AI-enabled solutions and drive value across the enterprise. Rajat's leadership aims to foster collaboration and innovation among stakeholders to address complex knowledge challenges faced by customers and users. 

Rajat has established himself as a global industry, innovation and thought leader with more than three decades of experience transforming global AI / data analytics businesses and leading technology excellence initiatives for major corporations. 

Prior to joining EBSCO Information Services, Rajat was Group Director, AI and Data Analytics at Informa, where he was responsible for driving data, analytics and AI initiatives across the various business divisions. Rajat has been recognized as a Top 25 Global Leader as a key member of Informa’s Executive Leadership Team, whilst benefiting from senior board engagement across several leadership roles for different companies. 

Prior to Informa, Rajat was a serial entrepreneur with two successful ventures in technology and energy. Prior to that, he was a senior executive at IBM including Watson, GE, and Experian, and is also a global AI Advisor for Start-ups & Grown-ups.

In his personal life, Rajat’s passions include high altitude trekking (the Himalayas), fitness, mental health and meditation. Ethical AI is a subject very close to his heart after being involved in the strategy and execution of numerous AI business use cases throughout his career.
