EBSCO Information Services Collaborates with Karolinum Press to Make over 150 Czech Titles Available via EBSCO eBooks

IPSWICH, Mass.November 13, 2014EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has recently partnered with Czech publisher, The Karolinum Press, Charles University in Prague, to offer more than 150 Czech titles to its growing collection of e-books available via EBSCO eBooks. Charles University in Prague is one of Europe's oldest universities.

The collection of Karolinum e-books includes 150 titles that span many different academic subject areas. Karolinum Press is the largest publisher of scientific and educational academic titles in the Czech Republic. Editor at Karolinum Press, Vit Krobot says this partnership with EBSCO will extend the global reach of their e-books. “Expanding the availability of our e-books through EBSCO will benefit many researchers, and we are pleased that our titles will be available not only to Czech libraries but all libraries worldwide. The information they need will be more accessible so they can have the best research experience possible. By the end of 2014, we will have 200 titles available via EBSCO.”

EBSCO eBooks offers over 650,000 e-books and audiobooks. EBSCO proactively acquires new content in critical areas, based on the dynamic needs of libraries.
