EBSCO Information Services Releases RIPM Preservation Series: European & North American Music Periodicals

IPSWICH, Mass. — January 4, 2018EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) introduces RIPM Preservation Series: European & North American Music Periodicals to meet the increasing demands for music content with a global perspective. The resource, produced by Le Répertoire international de la presse musicale (RIPM), provides music and musical history researchers access to unique primary source music journals with a vast array of international coverage.

RIPM Preservation Series: European & North American Music Periodicals is a collection of 100 rare full-text music journals not treated in RIPM Retrospective Index with Full-Text. The new titles are often reconstructed by RIPM and represent the only available complete run. International in scope, the Preservation Series includes music periodicals from the mid-18th through the mid- 20th century. Each title features cover to cover processing, which renders all content searchable, including advertisements.

Titles include journals dealing with musical life in world capitals—Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bilbao, Brussels, Budapest, Leipzig, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, New York, Prague, Rome, Paris, St. Petersburg, Venice, Vienna and Warsaw.
