Finnish Physicians Now Have Easier Access to Evidence-Based Content Through Terveysportti Heath Portal and DynaMed Plus®

~ Integration Gives Doctors the Ability to Quickly Find the Latest Information ~

IPSWICH, Mass. June 22, 2016 — Physicians in Finland can now search for evidence-based clinical information from DynaMed Plus® through the Duodecim Terveysportti health portal. The partnership between Duodecim and EBSCO Health will allow Finnish doctors to quickly access the right information when and where he or she needs it.

Those using Duodecim’s Finnish Doctor’s Handbook (Lääkärin käsikirja) can input their search terms in Finnish or English to search for the latest information on a particular disease or treatment in DynaMed Plus. In addition, content in the Doctor’s Handbook will have direct links to the related topics in DynaMed Plus.

This integration will give physicians access to nearly 1,000 primary care practice guidelines and more than 4,300 high-quality evidence summaries supporting the given recommendations as well as more than 4,500 DynaMed Plus topics, including overviews, recommendations, graphics, images, drug content and more. Updated daily, DynaMed Plus consistently and systematically identifies, selects, evaluates and summarizes, synthesizes and interprets evidence, and continuously adjusts as new evidence becomes available. Its format is designed to let users find the information they need as quickly as possible.

Duodecim and EBSCO Health have also partnered to have DynaMed Plus content searchable in German through EbM Guidelines. For more information, visit http://www.duodecim.fi/english.
