Ability to limit to HTML Only, PDF Only, and eBooks Only. These limiters are available for EBSCOhost and EDS customers, and they can be configured for profiles in EBSCOadmin along with the other standard limiters.
The new interlibrary loan (ILL) form is designed to seamlessly integrate with EBSCO’s New UI. This form has several enhanced features:
1. EEM Module: Easily create and manage ILL forms with the new EEM module.
2. Entitlement API Integration: Users will be informed about the availability of a copy through EBSCO full text, SmartLinks+, or Unpaywall before submitting their request.
3. EBSCO SSO Integration: Automatic population of user information with EBSCO Single Sign-On.
4. Multilingual Support: Access the form in all languages supported by EBSCO.
Library administrators can now create custom limiters according to field codes. The most popular custom limiters from the Classic UI will be pre-programmed and just need to be turned on
The results page now lists the selected search mode under “All Filters.” The search mode can be changed on the Advanced Search under “Search Options”. It also displays any selected Search Expanders. For more convenient refinement, a link back to “Advanced Search” is now directly available in the “All Filters” panel.
In a multi-database search, each database's specific filters will be displayed in a dedicated dropdown section in the Advanced Search to allow for easy orientation
Researchers can now find a complete set of database-specific filters in single database search mode. When multiple databases are searched together, the shared filters are displayed
User experience design improvements for navigating long lists of filter values; ex. Subjects, which can sometimes have 30+ values
Sticky Filters: All applied filters can persist when modifying a search query (user choice; library sets default)
Filter panel design updates for more intuitive workflows
Ability to exclude records from catalogs and institutional repositories when applying the full text limiter (EBSCO Discovery Service only)
Researchers can further narrow their results through multiple interactions with the filter panel
