Library administrators can change the default display to show the full or abbreviated abstract on the results page using a setting in the Configuration module of EBSCO Experience Manager. Users still have the ability to show the full or abbreviated abstract in the user interface.
Library administrators can change the number of records that display on the results list using a setting in the Configuration module of EBSCO Experience Manager. In addition to the default value of 10 records, administrators can select to display 20, 30, or 50 items. Users still have the ability to change the number of records that display via a pulldown menu in the user interface.
Library administrators now have the capability to generate New UI URLs for their EBSCO products, including database-specific URLs. This new feature will be integrated into the Search Box Builder within EBSCO Experience Manager.
Segmented search results have been added for CINAHL Complete, CINAHL Plus, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, and CINAHL Ultimate. This shows result list segments for “All results,” “Evidence-based care sheets,” “Quick lessons” and “Videos” when one or more of these databases is selected for searching in EBSCOhost.
This update introduces a new feature for the Search Box Builder in EEM, tailored specifically for the Business Searching Interface (BSI) on the New UI. As your BSI profiles transition to the New UI, you will now have the capability to create search boxes using the enhanced builder.
Personalized users can add up to 50 records at a time to a Project of their choice, whether existing or new, directly from the results page
Records on the results page in EBSCO Discovery Service and EBSCOhost will be numbered to make navigating results simpler and more intuitive. Users will also be able to select the number of results they see before the "See More Results" button appears. The default view will remain as 10 records, with options to view up to 50 records.
The results page now lists the selected search mode under “All Filters.” The search mode can be changed on the Advanced Search under “Search Options”. It also displays any selected Search Expanders. For more convenient refinement, a link back to “Advanced Search” is now directly available in the “All Filters” panel.
Users can expand the abbreviated abstract to show the full abstract from the results list while using EBSCOhost, EBSCO Discovery Service, and Explora profiles
