Improve stability and delivery of EDS API to support increased demand. There will be no change to existing endpoints and functionality. API consumers will be asked to register existing EDS API app/client use-case(s) in 2024 to receive API keys for future use.
New hosting platform for EBSCO’s API developer portal, the EBSCO Developer Network. EDS API documentation moved from EBSCO Connect to EBSCO Developer Network. An OpenAPI spec for EDS API will be published.
Libraries can now opt-in to Recommendations, which enables patrons to discover and explore related research more easily with a brand-new “More like this” button on the search results page and individual detail record pages, powered by EBSCOhost subject metadata
