AI Insights Summaries assist users in assessing an article's relevance to their research by providing a new button in the result list. This feature uses Generative AI to create on-demand summaries of 2-5 key points, based on the full text of the article. An AI Insight is grounded in the full-text of the article.
The EBSCO Scholarly Graph (ESG) is a comprehensive network containing millions of bibliographic records of published creative works as well as the local holdings data from contributing libraries. The ESG captures how the metadata in these creative works link together, such as common co-authors between different works, articles focused on similar subjects, publishers and author affiliated institutions, backwards and forward citations, common synonyms, linked data and national library vocabularies, and much more. The ESG powers many of the EBSCO linked data features such as citation counts, author pages, open web discovery, and advanced researcher recommendations.
The new interlibrary loan (ILL) form is designed to seamlessly integrate with EBSCO’s New UI. This form has several enhanced features:
1. EEM Module: Easily create and manage ILL forms with the new EEM module.
2. Entitlement API Integration: Users will be informed about the availability of a copy through EBSCO full text, SmartLinks+, or Unpaywall before submitting their request.
3. EBSCO SSO Integration: Automatic population of user information with EBSCO Single Sign-On.
4. Multilingual Support: Access the form in all languages supported by EBSCO.
When configured by their administrator, users can use their institutional email address to obtain a one-time code to access EBSCO resources. This new authentication method is primarily intended for institutions without a remote authentication method, such as a proxy or single sign-on
Users can search FMO in additional languages, including several languages that use non-Latin characters
Many users who reach the EBSCO log in page attempt to log in by entering their institutional email address in the username field. With this enhancement, if the email domain has been configured as a trusted email domain for the institution, the user will be asked if they'd like to access EBSCO through their institution's preferred authentication method
The login pages used for patterned ID and patron ID authentication have been updated to reflect the design of the new EBSCO login page. With this update, the page now displays the institution name and logo, increasing user confidence
The login page for MyEBSCO personal user accounts has been refreshed with a new design that complements the redesigned EBSCO login page
Administrators can configure multiple versions of their institution name in different languages, including several languages that use non-Latin characters
