EBSCO eBooks users now have access to the following new functionality to align with requirements of the European Accessibility Act: accessibility metadata displayed for every EBSCO eBook in the new UI; an EPUB limiter for eBooks in new UI; line, word, and character spacing controls for EPUB formatted eBooks; text-to-speech functionality for PDF and EPUB formatted eBooks; and a user-facing remediation request form for EBSCO full text content to request an alternate format.
Configuration of IP authentication will move from EBSCOadmin to EBSCO Experience Manager. Administrators will benefit from self-supported IP configuration in a modern and intuitive UI.
Library administrators will be able to configure and use their institution's SAML Single Sign-On (such as OpenAthens, MS Entra, or Shibboleth) for access to EBSCO Experience Manager. This work will allow for more secure, standard authentication and role-based access control for EEM, an interface where product configuration is increasingly homed. Administrators can easily connect to their SAML Identity Provider using the setup wizard, and granularly manage permissions for administrative access.
Library administrators now have the capability to generate New UI URLs for their EBSCO products, including database-specific URLs. This new feature will be integrated into the Search Box Builder within EBSCO Experience Manager.
The new interlibrary loan (ILL) form is designed to seamlessly integrate with EBSCO’s New UI. This form has several enhanced features:
1. EEM Module: Easily create and manage ILL forms with the new EEM module.
2. Entitlement API Integration: Users will be informed about the availability of a copy through EBSCO full text, SmartLinks+, or Unpaywall before submitting their request.
3. EBSCO SSO Integration: Automatic population of user information with EBSCO Single Sign-On.
4. Multilingual Support: Access the form in all languages supported by EBSCO.

New collections released twice per year with zero overlap across sets, covering specific, high-interest disciplines, including business, humanities, medicine, technology and many more
The eBook download modal on the search results and detail page has been enhanced to offer the user the choice between downloading chapters, the full eBook, and metadata instead of the separate download entry points and modals the user sees today. This same enhanced modal will be added to the eBook viewers in a later release.
