Users of Points of View and Read It! on Explora will soon have a new Topic Page experience which highlights related content collections for Points of View Point/Counterpoint articles and Read It! comprehension tests.
Library administrators can now create custom limiters according to field codes. The most popular custom limiters from the Classic UI will be pre-programmed and just need to be turned on
“My Dashboard” is now collapsed by default on Explora. Users can click on the “My Dashboard” header to expand it. After expanding this menu, it will remain expanded as users navigate through the interface. Users can also collapse it again by clicking on the “My Dashboard” header, and it will remain collapsed until expanded again.
Search Modes and Expanders are now available on the New UI for EBSCOhost, EDS and Explora. They are located on the Advanced Search in a newly added tab called “Search Options”. All existing EBSCOadmin configuration options selected by the customer are being honored:
– The customer’s default Search Mode
– The customer’s default Expander(s)
– Expander(s) selected for display on the interface

Users can expand the abbreviated abstract to show the full abstract from the results list while using EBSCOhost, EBSCO Discovery Service, and Explora profiles

User experience design improvements for navigating long lists of filter values; ex. Subjects, which can sometimes have 30+ values
Pre-search database selection, quick filters, and Advanced Search button are now available directly from the Explora landing pages and Topic Explorer
