Users will be able to explore people pages, which showcase key metrics, co-authors and works for researchers, powered by the new EBSCO Scholarly Graph.
We are improving the font and image treatment in the Topic Browse experience, as well as making changes to the featured content carousels and featured topics on the landing pages.
We will be changing the “New search” link in the left-hand navigation pane on Explora interfaces to an “Advanced search” link, and adding a dedicated “Home” button that brings users to the Topic Browse landing page.
We will make design changes to the Smart Panels that display on the result list in Explora products, including the addition of quick links to Points, Counterpoints, and Guides to Critical Analysis to the Smart Panels in Points of View Ultimate.
There will be an option for search boxes to be maintained on the result list when a user begins their search from the Advanced Search page.
Users will have the ability to bulk delete items from their search history.
Users will have a custom date range option for the date quick filter and the date picker will only require the year, not a full 8-digit format such as MM/DD/YYYY
Enhance the student research experience with EBSCO’s upgraded recommendation engine, which now leverages semantic similarity and an academic citation network powered by the new EBSCO Scholarly Graph. Version 1, launched late 2023, has been adopted by over 200 libraries. With the upcoming release of version 2, we anticipate even greater impact on our users, researchers, and libraries, and researchers.
