Vito Iacoviello, MD
Vito R. Iacoviello, MD, FIDSA is the Senior Deputy Editor for Infectious Diseases, Immunology, and Allergy. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Vito received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction and completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Medical Residency, and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
He is presently a consulting physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee at Mount Auburn Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Vito’s previous responsibilities included: Vice President Infectious Diseases and Infection Prevention, Steward Health Care; Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases, Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center; Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, Tufts University School of Medicine; and Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases, Mount Auburn Hospital.
