EBSCO Solar Winners

2021

Congratulations to Hazel Park District Library in Hazel Park, Michigan; Medford Public Library in Medford, Massachusetts; College of Menominee Nation in Keshena, Wisconsin; and the Virgin Islands Montessori School in St, Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, will each receive an EBSCO Solar Grant to pay for the installation of a solar array. The grants offset the cost of installing solar panels and allow the libraries to reduce their electricity expenditures.

2020

Congratulations to Independence Public Library in Independence, Belize; Peterborough Town Library in Peterborough, New Hampshire; The Valley Library at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon; H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, Learning Resource Centre, in Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Pacific Theological College, in Suva, Fiji Islands. These institutions each received an EBSCO Solar Grant to pay for the installation of a solar array. The grants will offset the cost of installing solar panels and allow the libraries to reduce their electricity expenditures.

Congratulations to Medicine Hat College in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; New Port Richey Public Library, New Port Richey, Florida; and Hedgesville Public Library, Hedgesville, West Virginia for taking home the 2019 EBSCO Solar Awards. The libraries were awarded with $100,000 each to pay for the installation of a solar array, offsetting the cost of solar panels and allowing them to reduce electricity expenditures.

Congratulations to Red Feathers Lakes Community Library, Shephard University and the University of the West Indies for taking home the 2018 EBSCO Solar Awards. The libraries were awarded with $100,000 each to pay for the installation of a solar array, offsetting the cost of solar panels and allowing them to reduce electricity expenditures.

Congratulations to Austin Community College District's Highland Learning Center (HLC) Campus Library in Austin, Texas. The HLC Campus Library has been selected as the winner of the EBSCO Solar Grant which will cover up to $150,000 of the cost of installing a solar array for their library.
