About EBSCO Solar

EBSCO Solar is an annual grant program that funds $100,000 solar installations on library campuses. We’ll be updating you as the installations at these three libraries are underway.

2018 award winners were announced at ALA-Annual in New Orleans on June 22nd. Read the press release for more information on the winners and their dedication to solar energy.

Please contact ebscosolar@ebsco.com for questions.

Why EBSCO Solar?

Solar power is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available. EBSCO now has more than 500 solar panels offsetting the amount of "brown power" we buy and generating clean energy to reduce EBSCO's environmental footprint. We believe we can help make a critical impact on improving the environment and we want to help a library make the same transition to green power.
