About EBSCO Solar

EBSCO Solar is a grant program that will fund two $100,000 solar installations at libraries around the world. Nearly 80 libraries applied for last year’s grant and we’ll be updating you on the installation as it gets underway at Austin Community College District's Highland Learning Center (HLC) Campus Library in Austin, Texas while we also accept applications for 2017.

Questions will be accepted through February 28th at ebscosolar@ebsco.com

Applications are due April 28th at ebscosolar@ebsco.com

Winner will be announced online and at ALA-Annual on June 23rd.

Why EBSCO Solar?

Solar power is the cleanest and most abundant renewable energy source available. EBSCO now has more than 500 solar panels offsetting the amount of "brown power" we buy and generating clean energy to reduce EBSCO's environmental footprint. We believe we can help make a critical impact on improving the environment and we want to help a library make the same transition to green power.
